Jonathan and Roy Lewis

Lexington Festival of The Bluegrass:

That's right, it took weeks to talk Jonathan back down after he was invited on stage at the 2007 Lexington Festival of The Bluegrass by none other than Little Roy of the Lewis Family.  He played a couple of songs before Little Roy realized that he was not able to compete with Jonathan for the mic!  We enjoyed playing that day and we met some of the true greats of Bluegrass music.  A big thanks to Roy and the Lewis family.

Bean Blossom Paul Williams Gospel Festival:Night time at Bean Blossom

We had a great time playing at the honored stage of Bill Monroe at Bean Blossom.  In addition to that, we had a chance to pick in the back with Paul Williams himself.  Paul is a man with a great heritage in Bluegrass as well as man who has stood firm as a witness for Christ.

Ryman Theater, Nashville TN.Jonathan & Barry Scott

Yup, we played at the Ryman prior to Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder.  We were glad to be invited to play on the Plaza.  While a bit more humble than playing on the main stage, we enjoyed the cordial hospitality from the folks at the Ryman and we played Gospel Bluegrass for the the crowd prior to Ricky and Cherryhomes.  While there, we hooked up with Barry Scott, formerly of Doyle Lawson and now on his own with Second Wind.  Barry is a gentleman through and through and Jonathan could not pass up the chance to snap a picture at the Gibson store.
